(real)Age: 66; She looks around the age of 16. But the reasons for her being age 66 is due to her being a half-demon who's lived for 66 years in the fudal era of Japan.

Her Story:
-Family: She was born of a well-known family. Her mother was a high ranking demon in the wars of the north and the south.
While her father, a human, was an enemy to humans and demons alike;He was a theif, who stole from both sides of the war. Her mother had served a long time under the northern's leader: Inu no Taisho.
As he learned of the woman's pregnancy, he told her of a human he had fell in love with and was giving birth to a half-demon the very next day. As they were close friends, they set up the idea of an aranged marriged for the two children for when they grow older.
But what both women didn't know was that Inu no Taisho would die the day of his child's birth. And that they too,(along with the theif) would die; And never would be able to tell the two half-demon children of their marrige they had planned out for them.
-Past 50 Years: After living with the young half-demon boy for (almost) all of her youth, both his and her mother died of unkown causes. So they decided to part and start training for their future.
She trained many different styles of combat; The art of the samurai swords, alchemy, the art of summoning, nin-jutsu, and the last on her training quest: spiritual spells done by priestess'.
During that time she was being trained by a well known preistess named Kikyo. Kikyo was known as the holder of a scared jewel which almost every demon-and selfish human- wanted their hands on.
And it was no surprize when a demon came to take a whack at trying to steal it. But this time, it was the half-demon from Haimaru's youth which had come to steal it! The Priestess spared him his life, and let him go, but he sticked around.
Kikyo and the Half-Demon began to gain a connection. But once again, the Half-Demon tried to take the jewel, and this time Kikyo wasn't going to stand for it. She struck him in the heart with an arrow and the arrow stuck him to a tree. After Haimaru had weeped for the loss of her friend the preistess spoke in a harsh tone, saying that it is only a spell. That he will be awakened when it wares off, and her reincarnation sets foot on his ground.
-Present: Haimaru has finished training and has now heard of the Half-Demon's revival. So, of cousre, she goes looking for him. She comes back to the very village were she had trained under Kikyo, the priestess, but there is nothing left of her. She had died that day she struck the boy to the tree.(She would be dead eitherway due to old age.) But Haimaru meets Kikyo's younger sister, Kaiede, who is now the village elder.(Remember, 50 years has past!)Kaiede offers her to stay in the village until the Half-Demon boy returns from his latest battle, so she does. When the time comes, she will see him again.
